Representatives from key industry associations, such as the Association of Research-Based Pharmaceutical Companies (AİFD), the Clinical Research Association (KAD), the Association of Contract Research Organizations (SAKDER), and the Insurance Association of Türkiye (TSB), also actively participated in the discussions.

The scope of the workshop encompassed the current challenges and potential solutions encountered by insurance companies and relevant stakeholders within the Turkish clinical research landscape. Key topics included addressing existing insurance-related issues, planning short, medium, and long-term improvement initiatives, and enhancing the global efficacy of insurance frameworks in clinical trials. Following the evaluation of these challenges, solutions, and recommendations, an interim report will be prepared and submitted to the representatives of the relevant public institutions and our Presidency. The next session is scheduled to take place in December 2023.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all participants for their invaluable contributions.
