These projects are being conducted at the following institutions and organizations: Erciyes University, Hacettepe University, Marmara University, Yıldız Technical University, Atatürk University, Akdeniz University, and Nanografi Nano Technology Inc.

  • Erciyes University: The vaccine project led by Prof. Dr. Aykut ÖZDARENDELİ is currently in the Phase II clinical trial stage; the vaccination process has been completed, and follow-up procedures are ongoing. Furthermore, within the scope of the development of the indigenous vaccine "TURKOVAC", led by TÜSEB and developed by Erciyes University, the Phase III Clinical Trials of the Inactivated COVID-19 Vaccine are currently in progress.
  • Hacettepe and Marmara Universities: The vaccine projects led by Prof. Dr. Serhat ÜNAL at Hacettepe University and Prof. Dr. Kadir TURAN at Marmara University are continuing their work at Technology Readiness Level 3 (TRL 3). These projects are currently at the stage of identifying and characterizing candidate products, with non-GLP preliminary in vivo proof of concept.
  • Yıldız Technical University: The vaccine project led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serap DERMAN is continuing its activities at Technology Readiness Level 4 (TRL 4), focusing on optimization and the demonstration of non-GLP in vivo activity and efficacy.
  • Atatürk and Akdeniz Universities: The vaccine projects led by Prof. Dr. Selahattin ÇELEBİ at Atatürk University and Prof. Dr. Tarlan MAMMEDOV at Akdeniz University are currently at TRL 4, proceeding with optimization and non-GLP in vivo activity and efficacy demonstration studies.
  • Nanografi Nano Technology Inc.: The nasal vaccine project led by Mehmet Başçi is at TRL 5, focusing on advanced characterization and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) processes. The project is currently in the stage of GMP Lot production activities.
