Workshop on Clinical Trials: Current State of Ethics Committees and Recommendations
The "Workshop on Clinical Trials: Current State of Ethics Committees and Recommendations" was held on April 5, 2023, at the Mövenpick Hotel Ankara. Bringing together a broad spectrum of stakeholders, the workshop facilitated the participation of 45 esteemed individuals, including representatives from relevant public institutions, clinical research ethics committees, industry associations, and researchers.
The program commenced with the opening remarks of Prof. Ateş KARA, MD, Head of Türkiye Vaccine Institute (TAE), and Elif İnci ERGÖNÜL, PhD, Head of the Clinical Trials Department of TİTCK. The workshop served as a vital platform for sharing invaluable expertise and fostering collaboration among the key actors in the field.
